Our model
At Huddle and Bloom, we believe that everyone should have access to therapy, regardless of their circumstances. We understand that not every family needs ongoing, intensive intervention and sometimes, a little support can go a long way.
We offer 8–10 structured therapy sessions delivered as part of a goal-focused therapy block. This approach is designed to provide intensive support over a defined period, followed by a break (a “block off”) to allow time for children and families to consolidate skills, practice strategies in everyday settings, and avoid therapy fatigue. If needed, families can then re-engage in a second or later block of therapy with new or evolving goals.
How it works
-
Typically delivered weekly or fortnightly
-
A mix of direct child sessions and parent coaching, depending on your goals.
-
After the 8–10 session block, we’ll review progress and:
-
Recommend a pause to allow time for practice and consolidation.
-
Offer follow-up support as needed.
-
Discuss whether another therapy block would be beneficial.
-
Why a concentrated therapy approach?
-
Boosts motivation – Short, focused periods of therapy feel achievable and energising for children and families.
-
Builds momentum – Knowing there’s a defined end-point can help everyone stay engaged.
-
Promotes real-world learning – The “off” block allows families to trial strategies, reflect on what’s working, and return with fresh insight if more support is needed.
-
Cost-effective – Families invest in targeted support when it’s most needed, rather than committing to indefinite ongoing therapy.
-
Better access to therapy for all.
