The Faces Behind the Support
Courtney Ireland
Occupational Therapist
Hi, I'm Courtney! A passionate Occupational Therapist with experience in private practice, leadership and academics. My approach as an Occupational Therapist is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and a deep belief that every child has the potential to thrive when supported in the right way. I understand the everyday challenges families and young people face, and enjoy working together to navigate hurdles, celebrate progress and create a practical plan together.
When I'm not working, you'll find me embracing life as a mum to two young children. We love exploring our local parks and playgrounds, and there's nothing quite like a family holiday to recharge. I'm a firm believer in keeping active to support my own mental wellbeing whether that's walking along our local track, cheering on my niece and nephew at their sporting events, or soaking up time outdoors with my family.
I also have a creative side, and you might catch me at the sewing machine when the house isn’t too chaotic. If you ever spot me out having an almond latte, feel free to come and say hi!

Raffy
Hi, I'm Carly! An Occupational Therapist with a background spanning private practice, education settings and animal assisted therapy.
Connection is at the center of everything I do. I pride myself on creating a space where children and families feel truly heard, bringing a warm, fun and light-hearted energy to every session. I have a unique way of connecting with children, and a deep belief that the right support can make all the difference. With a strong focus on sensory processing and understanding behaviour, I work alongside families to understand their child's world, celebrate the wins and build practical strategies that work in everyday life.
Growing up in a small country town shaped who I am, making me grounded, approachable and genuinely passionate about the people I work with.
In my free time, you'll usually find me at yoga, out walking with Raffy and friends, trying a new recipe in the kitchen, getting lost in a good book, exploring new places to eat, or planning our next getaway with my partner. Life is full and I wouldn't have it any other way!
Therapy dog
Hi, I'm Raffy! The four-legged furry friend of the Huddle & Bloom team and proud Chief Therapy Dog!
When I'm not busy helping children feel welcome and making them smile, I'm probably chasing a ball (seriously, I could do it all day), asking for bickies with my communication buttons, showing off my favourite tricks, giving out cuddles (I can't always promise they won't come with a little lick!), or hiding treats in my carefully chosen secret spots. The couch cushions and under Mum and Dad's pillows are among my finest hiding places (but don't tell them!).
I bring a special kind of magic to sessions that even the humans can't quite explain, and I take my role very seriously. Well, mostly seriously (Ask me about my ball!).
The inclusion of Raffy in sessions is always based on an informed clinical decision, considering each child's individual needs, preferences, goals, and comfort level to ensure his involvement is beneficial and supportive.
